Your first 3 minutes: the onboarding walkthrough

Setup takes about three minutes, and every question exists for a reason. Here's what happens behind each screen so you can answer well the first time.
Question 1 — What are you here for?
Strength, fat loss, stress relief, general health, or coming back from a layoff. This sets the shape of your week: how much lifting versus conditioning versus restore work, and how aggressive progression is at the start.
You can change it later. Most people do, around week six, and that's normal.
Question 2 — How many days can you actually train?
Emphasis on actually. Pick the number you can hit in a busy week, not your best week. Three honest days beats five aspirational ones, because a plan you miss half of stops adapting correctly.
Question 3 — Where do you train?
Full gym, home with dumbbells, home with nothing, or a mix. The planner only prescribes movements you can perform with the equipment you selected, and the animated coach shows the exact variation it picked.
Question 4 — Experience and current load
New, returning, or consistent. This decides your starting intensity and how fast weights climb. Returning lifters get a deliberately conservative first two weeks — the fastest way to stall is to start where you left off years ago.
Question 5 — Time per session
30, 45 or 60+ minutes. Sessions are built to finish inside the window you chose, including warm-up. If you say 30, you get 30 — trimmed intelligently, not by cutting the warm-up.
What you get at the end
- 1A generated training week with days, movements, sets and target ranges.
- 2A readiness check-in scheduled for each morning.
- 3Two starter habits matched to your goal.
- 4A restore session on your heaviest day.
Three things to do right after setup
- Open one session and tap through the movement animations so nothing is a surprise mid-workout.
- Set your reminder times to when you'll really be free.
- Add your household to Family if more than one person will use the account.
Don't redesign the plan on day one. Run the first week as written — the system needs real data before it can adapt to you.
