- Sit tall, feet flat, shoulders heavy. Let your jaw unclench.
- Breathe out everything you're holding. That's the starting line.
- Inhale through the nose for four — slow and quiet, belly first.
- Hold for four. Nothing to do here. Just stay still.
- Exhale through the mouth for four, like fogging a window.
- Hold empty for four. Notice you're completely fine down here.
- Repeat the square. Four in, four hold, four out, four hold.
- Each round, drop your shoulders one more millimetre.
- On the last round, let the breath return to normal and sit for ten seconds before you move.
