The animated coach: seeing every rep before you do it

A still photo shows you a position. It doesn't show you the path between positions, and the path is where most reps go wrong.

That's why every movement in Partnexa has an animated coach: a clean, articulated figure performing the rep at controlled speed, from the angle that actually shows the fault you're trying to avoid.

What you can control

  • Speed — slow it down to study the bottom position, or run it at working tempo
  • Angle — front and side views for movements where the fault hides in one plane
  • Tempo cues — the count for the lowering, pause and lift phases
  • Cue list — two or three short cues, not a paragraph you'll never read mid-set

Use it before, not during

Watch the demo once before your first set, while your hands are free. Mid-set is for lifting, not reading.

The four errors it catches fastest

1. Depth drift on squats Everyone's squat gets shallower as the set goes on. Watching the demo at the bottom position gives you a reference point you can feel for.

2. Losing the hinge on deadlifts The animation shows hips leading the descent. If your knees travel first, you're squatting the pull.

3. Ribs flaring on presses Overhead work quietly turns into a lower-back arch. The side view makes the difference obvious.

4. Shrugging on rows Rows become upper-trap work when the shoulder rises. The front view catches it in seconds.

Why this matters for home training

If you train alone in a garage, there's no one to spot a fault. The animated coach is the closest thing to a set of eyes: it doesn't correct you, but it gives you something accurate to compare yourself against — and comparison is most of coaching.

Film one set from the side every few weeks and play it next to the demo. Two minutes of that beats a month of guessing.

It's built into the flow

You don't hunt for demos in a separate library. They sit inside the session, next to the target reps, and inside the exercise library if you want to browse the whole catalogue.

Next: Logging a session properly — the numbers that make your next week smarter.
